European Tour Highlights:
2015 Cordon Golf Open – 1st – Debut victory on the European Challenge Tour
Scott born 13 September 1985 is an Australian professional golfer. He was a top amateur golfer, winning several events in Australia and is able to boast the great accolade of being the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Rankings for five weeks in early 2009.
Scott subsequently turned professional in 2009 following his glittering amateur career.
- 2006 Hong Kong Amateur
- 2008 Riversdale Cup
- 2009 Australian Amateur, Lake Macquarie Amateur
As a professional he has played on the European Tour, Challenge Tour, OneAsia Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia. He won his first professional tournament in January 2012 at the Victorian Open.
Scott has played a full season on the European Challenge Tour in 2015 and has lifted his first Challenge Tour trophy at the Cordon Golf Open in France in September 2015. Scott was one shot behind overnight leader Daan Huizing going into the final round but a two under par 68 was enough to give the formidable Aussie his maiden victory. Sadly the win wasn't enough to get Scott into an automatic spot for the main European Tour in 2016 but he will play an off season schedule at home in Australia and New Zealand before a mix of Challenge Tour and main tour events throughout 2016.
