Champions of Golf on Tour

This week sees two of the Champions of Golf stable taking to the first tee in action on the European Tour and the Australasian Tour, as Jason Palmer and Scott Arnold respectively, compete for their first trophy of the new 2015 season.

For the middle event on a three week stretch in South Africa, the European Tour move to East London for the Africa Open, and Jason will be joining them. Having disappointingly missed the cut last week at the Joburg Open after one wayward shot in his second round, Jason has had time to rest his wrist which gave him some discomfort during last week, and head for this event refreshed and raring to go. The tree lined course will no doubt suit Jason's accurate driving and straight shot shape, and as he did in India over a similar course he will be hoping for more success on this his debut European Tour season.

In stark contrast his fellow stable mate, Scott Arnold, has remained half way around the world as he competes in the Holden NZ PGA Championships in Auckland, New Zealand. Scott has been on a fantastic run of form across the other side of the globe where he has finished 11th, 16th and 3rd in his last three tournaments and so heads into this week full of confidence.

Jason tees off in round one in East London at 08.25 (06.25 UK) alongside Magnus A Carlsson and Mikko Korhonen, who he also plays with in round two teeing off at 13.10 (11.10 UK).

Scott gets his tournament underway on Thursday 5th March at 12.45 (23.45 Wednesday 4th March UK time) alongside Michael Wright and Matthew Guyatt.

Good luck to Scott and Jason!
