Champions of Golf on Tour

As the weather improves and the nights start to draw out the golf season begins to hit full swing and this week is no exception with 10 Champions of Golf professionals in action at home and abroad in a variety of competitions. 

The Magnolia Park Exclusive Press Day - Wednesday 13th May 

This is an exclusive opportunity for media publications, magazines and broadcasters to spend the day at the magnificent Magnolia Park hosted by the clubs ambassador and Champions of Golf professional, 2 time major winner and Ryder Cup legend, Tony Jacklin CBE. Also present on the day are a trio of other Champions professionals, David Gilford, Paul Broadhurst and Peter Baker. 

The day is due to commence at 9am with a variety of interviews and press calls before each professional accompanies a group from the media for a round on the Championship course. Following this there will be a formal dinner and a Q+A session with all the professionals.

EuroPro - Celtic Manor - 13th to 15th May 

The World Snooker Open is the first event of the 2015 HotelPlanner.com EuroPro Tour taking place over the Montgomerie course at Celtic Manor, scene of the European victory in the 2010 Ryder Cup. 

Champions of Golf are delighted to have two of its hottest prospects and a seasoned European Senior Tour winner all competing at the event. Senior player Gary Wolstenholme MBE will tee it up alongside fellow Champions of Golf professionals Neil Fenwick and Gareth Wright.

European Challenge Tour - Denmark - 14th to 17th May 

Champions of Golf have two players competing on the Challenge Tour this week, and both Scott's. Scott Arnold is making an appearance at his first event in Europe since returning home from Australia having finished 4th on the PGA of Australasia Tour Order of Merit. Joining him is another Scott, this time Scott Henry. Scott narrowly missed the cut last week at the Challenge de Madrid and so will be hoping to take the experience and practice through to this week as he bids to make a statement for the season ahead. 

European Tour - Spain - 14th to 17th May

Jason Palmer will once again compete on the European Tour as he heads back from sunny Mauritius, scene of his ties 37th place finish in last week’s European Tour event. Currently ranked 174th on the Race to Dubai Order Of Merit Jason will take confidence from a solid week in Mauritius as he bids to jump up the leaderboard and challenge for a maiden European Tour title.
