This week Champions of Golf have six of their professionals playing on four different tours in four different countries!
The European Senior Tour makes its debut for the 2014 season at the 75th US Senior PGA Championships presented by Kitchen Aid. Having finished inside the top 16 on the Order of Merit in 2013, Gary Wolstenholme MBE has qualified yet again for another major championship and has returned to Benton Harbour, Michigan keen to improve his 35th finishing position over the same course back in the 2012 Championship.
Also competing on American soil is Sean Jacklin, son of Champions of Golf legend, Tony Jacklin CBE. Having finished in a seasons best tied 5th position last week at the Dominican Republic Open last week, Sean will be looking to finish the first half of the PGA Latin America season on a high with another strong finish at the Lexus Panama Classic.
The Hotel Planner.com EuroPro tour also continues to gather momentum this week as its strong field of professionals head to Longhirst Hall Golf course for the Dawson and Sanderson Travel Classic. Amongst those professionals are Neil Fenwick who having practiced over the course the week before the tournament, is confident of a good week in Northumberland.
The final tournament of the week takes place on the Challenge Tour and is the Karnten Golf Open presented by Mazda at the Golfclub Schloss Finkenstein in Austria. Jason, Scott Arnold and Scott Henry will all take part in the event and for the second week in succession two Champions of Golf players will accompany one another in the first two rounds; Jason Palmer and Scott Henry.
