This week saw Europe's golfing elite move into the final swing of the season as the top 78 players head to China for the BMW Masters, the first of a three week limited field series, a pre cursor to the grand final - The DP World Championships in Dubai from November 14th.

With exemptions confirmed for next season and European Tour cards won and lost at the regular season ending Perth International over the weekend, Marc Warren and Scott Jamieson, already confirmed inside the top 30 of the Race to Dubai, were confirmed entrants into the BMW Masters. Both Champions of Golf players will have their eyes on the $1.66million first prize but with the winners cheque and trophy also comes the opportunity to play in the final World Golf Championship event of 2013 at Sheshan International Golf Club in China. If neither lift the silverware then they will return to Glasgow to prepare for the Turkish Airlines Open and World Championships, the two following tournaments to close out the 2013 European Tour season.

Another Champions of Golf player who's season has come to a close is Jason Palmer. Pictured above, the Kirby Muxloe golfer, having secured three titles this season on the Alps Tour also added the Order of Merit title to his impressive haul after heading into the season finale - Masters 13 event - atop the table with an unassailable lead.

This ends the Alps Tour season for Jason who has already secured a European Challenge Tour card but will head to PGA Catalunya in Spain in a bid to improve his ranking and push for a European Tour card to compete alongside some of his golfing hearoes on the main tour.

We wish all our Champions of Golf players the best of luck over the coming weeks for all their tournaments - you can keep up to date with all the live scoring from China on the Euroepan Tour website at http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/season=2013/tournamentid=2013084/index.html and all the action from Spain later in November at http://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/qualifying/index.html.
