This week sees one of the biggest in an already glittering career for European Senior Tour player and Total Motion UK Ambassador Paul Broadhurst.
The Ryder Cup player, six time European Tour title winner and European Senior Tour winner on debut has successfully negotiated the first round of Champions Tour Qualifying School winning through his qualifier in impressive style two weeks ago. However Paul is not one to rest on just a solitary piece of good news last week he went out and played on the Pro-Am Tour in Arizona and fired rounds of 71-63-64-69 to win by three strokes and finish 11 ahead of friend and fellow Champions Tour qualifier Barry Lane.
2015 has been a stellar standout year so far for Paul who has a habit of making a big impression at the first time of asking having won the Prostate Cancer UK Scottish Senior Open earlier in the year on the European Senior Tour, his first win in his first event! He will of course be hoping another big first in his season will be qualifying for the Champions Tour, the most lucrative senior golf tour in the world where fellow European Tour golfer and close friend Ian Woosnam has also had significant success winning earlier in the season.
Paul gets his first round underway at 10.50am local time (17.50pm UK time) tomorrow (Tuesday 1st December) alongside Andre Bossert and Jim Rutledge. You can follow the live scoring from Arizona throughout the week through the PGA Tour website at http://www.pgatour.com/champions/leaderboard.html
Everyone at Champions of Golf wish Paul the very best for the week ahead.
