European Senior Tour professional Carl Mason was the leading player over 60-years-old at this year’s Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, taking home the Super Seniors prize and a cheque for £5000 for the second year running. He finished on -5, after a particularly impressive second round that saw him make four birdies without dropping a single shot.
Mason has enjoyed a great deal of success on the European Senior Tour, becoming the highest career money winner, picking up 25 tournament victories and heading up the Order of Merit three times.
In second place was 2012 Farmfoods British Par 3 Champions DJ Russell, who shot four-under-par including a hole in one on the 12th hole. Third place was taken by six-time European Tour winner Maurice Bembridge.
