One of the most famous faces at the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, Ian Woosnam OBE was part of the winning Pro-Am team alongside his amateur partner David Nelson. Woosnam is one of the most popular figures in British golf and one of the ‘Big Five’ generation of Major-winning European golfers.
In second place were current European Tour professional Matthew Nixon and his amateur partner Craig Elsworth. Their combined score was an impressive -18 over the two days of the Pro-Am competition. Third place was taken by young golfer Ben Kruze and his amateur partner Tom Charley who finished with a combined score of -13.
