Each year, the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship recognises the leading amateur by awarding them the Norma C Herd Silver Salver. This year’s recipient was aspiring young golfer Luke Turbutt, who plays his golf at the Robin Hood Golf Club in Solihull. Turbutt played extremely well across the two days of the championship, competing alongside Senior Tour professional Mark Booth.
In second place was Tom Charley. In third place was Sarah Herd, who has a particularly impressive second round and finished in joint fourth place in the team Pro-Am event with women’s golf hotshot Charley Hull.
The Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship believes it is important to support amateur golfers and give them some well-deserved recognition.
