One of the most popular and well supported events on the European Tour, the BMW PGA Championship this week (21st – 24th May) swings into Wentworth, home of the tour, as the pinnacle flagship event of the season.
On the back of a couple of good results at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open and the Open de Espana, combined with firing a few sub-70 scores, Jason is hoping to challenge this week. Wentworth provides the visiting professionals with a very difficult test, a soft and long course with green heavily guarded by deep bunkers, however Jason’s length and consistent straight ball flight, combined with the recent work on his new swing will stand him in great stead ahead of the week.
With a total of 16 players from the world’s top 50 competing, following the withdrawal of American Patrick Reed, Jason has strong opposition to the crown including defending champion and world number one Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Martin Kaymer to name but a few.
