Gary Wolstenholme MBE wins in Spain
In preparation for the start of the European Senior Tour in May, Gary challenged other senior professionals at the recent Senior Golf Circuit Hacienda Senior Masters event at Hacienda del Alamo, Spain.
A superb opening round of 69, which he also matched in the third and final round gave Gary a -4 total, the winners trophy and most importantly a confidence boost after beating his nearest challenger, fellow European Senior Tour player Gordon Brand, by two shots.
Gary begins his season in America at the US Senior PGA Championships, this year held at Bellerive Golf Club in St Louis.
For further preparation Gary will also be competing in the TP Tour event at Little Aston on the 17th April as well as some English Tour and EuroPro events throughout the year to make sure he is match fit for the European Senior Tour season.
