Rising star Jason Palmer wrote his place in Alps Tour history by claiming the Citadelle Trophy by a record eleven strokes.
On his third victory of the season, Jason said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with my current run of form. To win against a tough field of golfers by such a wide margin is incredible.”
Jason had an eight shot advantage as he teed off the first hole at Golf Château de Preisch yesterday morning. He held his nerve in his final round to score 67, the best result of the day and increase his lead even further.
Golfing legend and fellow Champions of Golf player Tony Jacklin CBE was also impressed by Jason’s success and said: “Jason is an exceptionally talented young man and his latest victory looks to be the start of an amazing career.”
France’s Edouard Espana finished runner-up and Raphael Marguery and Julien Foret tied in third position.
Everyone at Champions (UK) plc would like to congratulate Jason on his triumph and are looking forward to seeing him achieve even more success in the future.
