Marc Supports the Volvo National Golf Club Challenge as Patron

Marc has become the latest top UK golfer to lend his support to the Volvo National CGolf Club Challenge joining the likes of Lee Westwood OBE, Paul Casey, Oliver Wilson and Sam Torrance.

This event is the largest nationwide charity competition for amateur golfers and Marc is delighted to be associated with the good work that the event does for Help for Heroes.

In 2006 Marc was named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year after securing his maiden European Tour victory winning the EnterCard Scandinavian Masters, as well as securing a further three top 10 finishes. The following year Marc captured the World Cup of Golf title for Scotland paying along side Colin Montgomerie.

In speaking about becoming a patron of the Volvo National Golf Club Challenge supporting Help for Heroes, Marc said “I am delighted to be working with this particular course.  It is a charity that is so important for the lives of service people and their families all over the UK and I think that this particular golf championship is great way to raise both awareness for the cause and the vital funds that Help for Heroes need to keep doing their great work.”
