Golf is one of the best sports in the world when it comes to doing something for worthy causes. Every year, it’s easy to find a few events where the stars of the game take part in something for charity, but now there’s a chance for you to do something good while rubbing shoulders with some of the stars of the European Tour on some of England’s finest courses.
The Help for Heroes Super Six sees a sextet of European Tour players play on one course each in tournaments designed to help raise money for the military charity. Taking in courses such as Wentworth, Sunningdale and The London Club, former Ryder Cup star Oliver Wilson, Dunhill Links winner David Howell, Simon Khan, Steve Webster, Sam Little and Scott Drummond take part.
Play with a pro
In conjunction with Help for Heroes, Yourgolftravel.com have launched a competition where, for a small donation of just £2, you get entered into a prize draw where you and a couple of friends could win the chance to play 18 holes with a professional. If you’re successful, you get to play a round of golf with any of the players mentioned.
If you want to enter, you need to be quick, as time is running out! Even if you don’t win, you’ve still donated money to a good cause in Help for Heroes, who do important and valuable work for servicemen and servicewomen who have been severely injured while on duty.
More details on how to enter can be found here.
Good luck!
