Neil wins Tomatin Single Malt 54 Hole Pro-Am

Despite the break in the EuroPro season before the final event, The Matchroom.com Sport Tour Championship at the end of October, Champions of Golf's Neil Fenwick is working hard on his game playing on the PGA Scotland circuit ahead of the final big EuroPro push.

Playing our of Dunbar Golf Club, Neil won the £5,000 first prize as the lading professional at the Tomatin Single Malt 54 hole Pro-Am which this year was played over three of the top highland courses in Scotland, Royal Dornoch, Nairn and Castle Stuart. With scintilating rounds of 65, 71 and a closing 66, Neil secuired victory by a solitary shot on a grand total of 11 under par.

The final round 66 was needed as Greg McBain went close to challenging Neil for top honours on the final day, however the four under par round was just enough to sneak victory.

Neil has had another strong year on the golfing scene and has come close to victory on several occassions on the EuroPro Tour without quite crossing the line, however he is still in a strong position on the order of merit. He will need a top finish at the final event however if his dream of collecting a European Challenge Tour card are to be realised, a feat that only the top 5 finishers can achieve so the pressure is on!

All at Champions of Golf congratulate Neil on a fantastic achievement this week and wish him the best of luck for the final event of the EuroPro season.
