Multiple European Tour winner and Ryder Cup player Paul Broadhurst drove off in style yesterday as he collected his new sponsored car from one of the countries leading fleet management and vehicle leasing business, Total Motion.
As Paul embarks upon his debut season on the European Senior Tour once he hits 50 in August, he is gearing up by playing a range of Pro-Am events and one day tournaments as well as getting in plenty of practice ahead of his first event, scheduled to be the Scottish Senior Open at Archerfield in late August. The new Vauxhall Insignia sponsored by Total Motion and handed over to Paul yesterday will be a great asset to him travelling nation-wide to play.
Of the new sponsorship Paul commented, 'I am really looking forward to getting back to playing professionally and joining the European Senior Tour. To have the support of Simon and his team at Total Motion, a local business, is fantastic and I really appreciate it. The car will be invaluable in getting around the country to play all the events I have in the diary. I have known Simon for some time and to be supported by a company as successful as Total Motion is flattering, their logo will appear on my clothing for the season too as I hope to promote their business as much as possible.'
