Late last night (Monday 29th July) the Champions of Golf office received two emails that could change the lives of Marc Warren and Scott Jamieson.
During the final Championship Committee meeting before the 95th PA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club, Marc and Scott received their invitations, thanks to their world ranking positions and high placing on the European Tour Race to Dubai Order of Merit.
Neither player has ever participated in a US PGA Championship before and only two weeks after playing in the British Open Championship, Marc and Scott will be hungry for another taste of major golf. The opportunity to play alongside some of the games greats, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickleson, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Ernie Els amongst others, the two Scots will be hoping to bring back a trophy to the home of golf.
