Scott Arnold, one of the Champions of Golf professional stable secured second place at the Nanshan New South Wales PGA Championship in Australia over the weekend.
Having returned back to his native country after a season playing on the European Challenge Tour, Scott fired scintillating scores of 65 and 69 to head into the weekend challenging for the title. His hopes of taking home the winners cheque and the trophy were further strengthened as he shot an impressive 62 in round three.
However despite an under par final round, Scott couldnt hold off his nearest challenger, Lincoln Tighe, after a seven under par 64 claimed the victory by one shot from Scott on a total of 19 under par, a further four shots clear of the rest of the field.
Scott now heads to the PGA Tour of Australasia's last event of the season before Qualifying School, the Australian PGA Championship at RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast where defending champions Adam Scott will also be in attendance.
