With the 2017 season well under way in America and the European Senior Tour opener in just two weeks time in the UAE, its an exciting time for the Champions senior stable mates. Champions professionals Paul Broadhurst, David Gilford and Gary Wolstenholme will all be in action at the Sharjah Senior Golf Masters and will be looking to continue their impressive form of last year. Both Paul and Gary have been making great strides in preparation to hit the ground running ahead of the European campaign. Broadhurst's first trip of the year across to America on the PGA Champions Tour has recently come to an end but can be looked back upon with found memories. Paul has appeared four times, placing in the top 30 on every occasion. The highlight coming at the Allianz Championship where he finished T4th for the week and picked up a cheque for $94,500, helping to propel him to 10th on the money list. We can look forward to seeing Paul in action on both sides of the pond this season and hope he can continue his recent success. Gary has had a solid start to 2017 appearing twice in Portugal in both January and February. A 4th place finish in the Algarvian Open and more recently finishing 2nd at the Vilamoura Pro-Am event has given Gary a firm platform to the build upon. A visit to PING this week for club fitting will hopefully only move Gary's game forward as he looks to build upon last season. Good luck to all our golfers for the 2017 season ahead from everyone at Champions of Golf.
