Trilby Tour Winner Joins Champions of Golf

Champions of Golf has gone from strength to strength in recent months with the signing of some of the golfing world's most exciting talents and we are delighted to announce that another young professional has joined the stable on a three year contract.

Tom Reid, a professioanl golfer playing out of the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club, home of the European Tour's headquarters, after a long relationship with Champions UK plc has agreed terms and joins the player rosta alongside the likes of Gary Wolstenholme MBE, Tony Jacklin CBE, Scott Henry, Neil Fenwick, Jason Palmer, Gareth Wright and Scott Arnold.

Tom’s career began playing golf at the age of 12, playing county golf up until the age of 23 and winning 16 amateur titles in the process. In his time as an amateur Tom competed all over the world and at the highest level in events such as the South African, Australian, Italian and French Amateur Championships.

Having had a successful amateur career that most golfers would be envious of, Tom turned professional in 2008 of a handicap of +1.

Tom represents Wentworth Golf Club as he competes on such tours as the Sky Sports televised EuroPro Tour, Trilby Tour, TP Tour, PGA South Region Tour and Jamega Tour to name but a few, where he has already added four professional titles to his golfing CV.

Tom is also a qualified PGA professional offering his advice, knowledge and expertise to all standards of golfers as well as maintaining his status as an active tournament professional.

Champions of Golf look forward to working with Tom and his team over the coming three years and please do keep checking back to find out more about Tom and the progress he is making in his professional career.
