Now only two months to go until the 81st Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall, Warwickshire.
Already confirmed to attend this year are celebrities such as Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United and winner of 13 Premier League and two Champions League trophies, alongside fellow footballing legends Peter Schmeichel MBE, Peter Shilton OBE, Alan McInally and John Jensen.
We are also delighted to announce that Neil Cooke will be attending the event with the European Senior Tours Official Support Vehicle where players will be able to have their clubs repaired or altered which will give the public an opportunity to see a little of what goes on behind the scenes on tour. Neil will also bring with him the support of some of his other sponsors including Skechers, G-Rip and Sundog eyewear.
Another new addition to the tented village for 2014 is Raa Putters. Handcrafting specially designed putters, Raa, named after their owner Roy Arthur Ainscough, are a new brand that are supporting a number of professional tour players including Champions of Golf's own Gary Wosltenholme MBE and we look forward to seeing them in August at Nailcote, thanks for the support everyone at Raa!
One final point of note is that for those people trying to play in the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship Pro-Am, the event is holding a qualifier for professionals through the TP Tour. The qualification event is being held on the 6th June at Sunningdale so please do check out their website to register, there are only 6 qualification spots up for grabs and im sure the £25,000 first prize at Nailcote is worth playing for!
