This week on tour professionals are representing Champions of Golf in Spain and Turkey. The Challenge Tour sets down in Turkey for the Turkish Airlines Open a week after the Ladies European Tour competed over the same course for their equivalent trophy, and the main European Tour heads to the home of the Qualifying School, PGA Catalunya, near Barcelona for the Open de Espana.
Having finished inside the top 10 in last weeks European Tour event, the Madeira Islands Open, Scott Henry earned his place in the starting field this week for the Open de Espana. Having competed at the European Tour Qualifying School earlier in the season, Scott is in very familiar surroundings at the PGA Catalunya resort and will be looking to draw on that knowledge as he kicks off the week teeing off in the first group on Thursday morning.
Champions of Golf are also delighted to have three of their professionals competing for the Turkish Airlines Open title at the National Golf Club in Belek, Turkey. Scott Arnold, Gareth Wright and Jason Palmer will be competing for the inaugural trophy around this very demanding golf course, built in 1992 and designed by David Feherty and David Jones, where the professional course record still stands at 71, only one under par.
