This week the European, Challenge and European Senior Tour return after a weeks break due to the hosting of the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in Scotland last week, and in action are Gary Wolstenholme MBE, Scott Arnold, Scott Henry, Jason Palmer, Neil Fenwick and Gareth Wright.
So lets kick off close to home with the Tomatin Single Malt 54 Hole Pro-Am in Scotland, sanctioned by the Scottish PGA the event is played over three days with each competitor playing at each of the three venues, Nairn Golf Club, Royal Dornoch Golf Club and Castle Stuart Golf beginning on Tuesday 30th September. Competing in this event are Champions of Golf professionals Neil Fenwick and the 2014 Gleneagles Scottish PGA Championship Order of Merit winner Gareth Wright.
Following a week at home to practice after a stretch of seven weeks competitive play back-to-back, Gary Wolstenholme heads to France for the French Riviera Masters at Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort in France. This is the 5th hosting of the European Senior Tour event and with a highest previous finish of 10th back in 2011 Gary will be looking to improve on his position of 34th on the Order of Merit with a strong week in France.
The final event of the week with Champions of Golf participants is the EMC Golf Challenge Open taking place in Rome at Olgiata Golf Club. This event sees Scott Henry, Scott Arnold and Jason Palmer take to the fairways as they head into the final stages of the European Challenge Tour season. This is the final full field event of 2014 and with the top 50 players on the Order of Merit progressing to the next two events in China, all three players will be aiming for Italian success.
