Not only has Jason Palmer, the Kirby Muxloe golf professional, become one of the latest graduates to the European Tour from its feeder tour, the European Challenge Tour but he has also made a name for himself with a very unusual chipping technique.
Nicknamed the One Arm Bandit, Jason has developed a less than text book chipping and pitching approach that has made the Crest Link Apparel ambassador one of the most talked about golfers this season. After developing anxiety over those delicate little shots around the greens Jason practiced hitting them one handed and found this to be a major benefit, something he still stand by today.
Having progressed to the European Tour whilst perfecting this technique is a major landmark in this professional’s career and one that the world’s media has been focused on:
Jason has now returned to his home town of Kirby Muxloe in Leicestershire as he prepares for the challenges ahead of him as he begins to compete against some of his heroes alongside some of the biggest names in the sport.
Everyone at Champions of Golf, Crouch Logistics, Crest Link Apparel, Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship, Ping and Titleist all congratulate Jason on a successful 2014 and wish him the very best ahead of 2015!
