Scottish golfers and Champions of Golf stablemates Scott Jamieson and Marc Warren are primed and ready to compete in the 2013 Open Championship at Muirfield.
For Scott this will be his second taste of this historical major championship having competed in 2011 at Royal St George's. Marc however has never competed in his home major, but can draw valuable experience from his time in the USA as he finished in a tie for 65th position at last years US Open Championship.
The 142nd Open Championship once again returns to Muirfield in East Lothian after the club last hosted the event in 2002 which saw Ernie Els, 2012 Open Championship winner, lift the claret jug for the first time. In recent years some of golfers greatest names have secured the Championship at this controversial venue including Lee Trevino in 1972, Tom Watson in 1980, Sir Nick Faldo in 1987 and 1992.
Marc begins his first round alongside American Robert Garrigus and Australia's John Senden at 8.11am, the same three players then begin their second round at 1.12pm on Friday. Scott tees off at 3.40pm on Thursday with Shiv Kapur from India and Frenchman Gregory Bourdy, their second round tee time is 10.39am.
Keep up to date with all the latest from Muirfield on The Open Championsip app or through the Open Championship website. You can also watch live coverage throughout the week on BBC One and Two.
All of Marc and Scott's sponsors and everyone at Champions of Golf would like to wish Scott and Marc the very best of luck for the week.
