With less than a week to go before the inaugural Tony Jacklin CBE Wentworth Charity Invitational at Wentworth, celebrities, sports stars, actors and professionals are polishing off their clubs dusting down their golf shoes and ironing out the kinks in their golf swings before doing battle with the immaculate Wentworth West Course.
The day is set ot be a magnificent spectacle for the players and public as professionals such as Peter Baker, Paul Broadhurst, Phillip Price, Ian Woosnam OBE, Gary Wolstenholme MBE and of course Tony Jacklin CBE. As well as the professionals we have a great array of celebrities and famous faces including Merrill Osmond, Keith Duffy, Dan Walker Sir Steve Redgrave, Jimmy Nesbitt and Damon Hill OBE.
After such an illustrious career winning two majors and becoming the most successful European Ryder Cup captain of all time, leading the European team to victory on 3 occassions, Tony is perfect candidate to be honoured at Wentowrth by his good friend and Wentowrth club owner, Richard Caring.
