Champions Stable Expands With Another New Edition

Champions of Golf are delighted to announce that their stable of proessional golfers has grown even further with the addition of Gareth Wright. Gareth is a Welsh golfer born 20th November 1981 who turned professional back in 2005 off a handicap of plus 4 after a successful amateur golfing career.

As an amatuer Gareth, amongst other noteable appearances, represented Wales at the Eisenhower Trophy but the highlight of his career was no doubt being one of only two Welsh players in the starting field of the 2013 Open Championship (the other being Jamie Donaldson). Gareth booked his place in the Open after securing his spot through a playoff at the qualifying event.

in 2012 Gareth won the British Club Professionals Championship and is now a fully qualified club professional. However Gareth passion still lies in competitive tournament golf and as such Gareth has once again joined the European Challenge Tour to earn back his playing priviledges after missing out previously due to a serious hand injury. However back to full health and with a full season planned of golf on the PGA North region circuit as well as on the Challenge Tour Gareth will no doubt be back to the top of his game.

Gareth makes another fine addition to the Champions of Golf stable after Scott Henry and Neil Fenwick recently joined and everyone at Champions wants to welcome Gareth and looks forward to a very successful 2014 season together.
