After a strong recovery to round 1, Marc returned an opening score of 70, two under par, a fine score given the difficult weather and windy conditions. However with an early tee time for day 2 Marc soon flew up the leaderboard and equalled his score from round one, 70, to give him a four under par total at the mid way point in the event.
The total is good enough for a tie for 3rd place at the moment heading into the weekend assuring Marc of a late tee time and a good sleep, something he hasnt been used to of late as Marc and his wife Laura welcomed their first child Archie James into the world only a month ago!
Also going well is Champions of Golf stable mate Matthew Southgate who shot three under par for day one and is currently tied 6th after 5 holes of his second round.
Good luck to both for the weekend in Spain and the rest of ther seasons!
